In one week this band will finally reach a point of transcontinentalnesssesssss. Currently, San Francisco has been the farther distance traveled by this bunch. Needless to say we are very much looking forward to traveling not only outside this state, but clear across the country for 2 shows at the Mercury Lounge and one at the Bowery Ballroom. Several weeks later we then get to venture to the Pacific Northwest to play KEXP and the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle. Sooooo very much looking forward to dinner at Montage in Portland and perhaps a visit to Voodoo Doughnuts...mmmmmmmmm...

It's a sad realization when you actually deduce why a radio station you listen to is playing a particular artist back to back. An even sadder one when it is an artist you admire. His music was a celebration and so should his life.
