hmmmmmmm, wasn't quite like playing parliament for us. after much deliberation the consensus is the club reminded us of the haunted mansion at disneyland. minus the
70s ghost effects and little people mover chairs:)

nme tour - day 1

good morning good morning,

Today we enter day 1 of the NME New Music Tour. We've been here for several days now dripping with anticipation. Easy to say, we're all ready to hit the stage tonight.

As I write this all the Little Ones are camped outside the hotel getting our last bit of "internet-ing" in. Anybody know how long the drive to Cardiff is? Anyhow, looking forward to meeting all the bands and memorizing a good 15 new names. Hope nobody thinks we're not too annoying.

Off to Cardiff!

Technically day 2 here in London and jet lag has already played its first cruel joke by waking Lee and I up at 5am. He now wanders the city at the waking hours in search of currency exchange and a Matlins.

Yesterday was pretty much a travel day as we all went instantly to bed upon arriving here in London. We met the very nice Aiborne Toxic Event, also from Los Angeles, on our flight over as well. A nice bunch, and it's always fun meeting people on 10hr flights.

We have 2 radio sessions today and then I suppose continuing to let our bodies acclimate.

pack my bags, go to the airport and get on a plane to london pie!

Can't fall asleep cuz I drank too much coffee while packing pie? It's 2:51am and I can't sleep so I suppose I'll continue to ponder how many pairs of socks to bring to the UK. That and obsess over that film Waitress, where Felicity conjures up mental pies and the ingredients are a metaphor for her current mental/emotional state.

Anyhow, we're off to the UK tomorrow for the nme new music tour. Very excited to go back as it has been about 2 months since our last visit. I think everybody is looking forward to some late night kebab, early morning english breakfast, and tea in between. Oh, and of course, getting to see friends.
