Phoenix, Arizona

Tour is officially on! Last night we played our first show at The Modified Arts Center in Phoenix. We always have a good time hanging in the city of Steve Nash. Thank you to all the people who came out to see us play. Special regards to the couple from New Mexico. Meeting people like you on tour who just want to have a good time with the music is the greatest.
After the show, we went and stayed with our friends Brian and Christine. A few beers and a cheeseburger combined with some quality YouTube video searching to make an awesome night. Thanks guys for your hospitality and kindness!
Well, onward to Denver for our Friday show at the Hi-Dive. 15 hours in the van can't be that bad, can it?

Hello old friend!

As a band, there are several things that you find important. Having a plethora of guitar picks. Clean socks on tour. Having a good show. I've just come to realize however, that in this band nothing is more important than finding a good burrito. You see, a good burrito is like having a good friend on tour. When the weather is cold and you just want to cuddle, a california burrito will warm you up. When you're sad that you have an 8 hour van ride ahead of you, a carne asada burrito can be there to keep you company. It will never battle you for the iPod dj duties. It will never make you feel bad because you haven't called for a while. It will never talk back.
Right now we just stopped in Rialto on our way to Phoenix. We all had an Alberto's burrito and then it instantly made us all happier and excited for the tour ahead. It's nice to see you old friend!

Oh What A Day Yesterday...

Yesterday was a very interesting day. We decided to throw in a practice before our Jimmy Kimmel appearance and our tour. However, the voltage gods would not allow it. We noticed that our studio power was overloading. It fried Brian's bass head and threw an interesting wrench into our day. When we finally got to the Kimmel Studio I noticed that my Rickenbacker guitar was not tuning correctly. I thought that the power overload caused it but it appears the Kimmel stage sits on top of a city transformer and was messing with the magnets in my pickups. It was very stressful to say the least. We had a great time though with friends and family. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it. We performed three songs last night. On to Phoenix today....

Patience Is The Key (Here We Go Again)

This week is going to be one of those hectic weeks again. We'll inevitably ask ourselves 'are we forgetting anything'? Or say, 'I should have brought...' We hit the road starting Wednesday just right after we do our first ever late-night performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday. Should be a really interesting thing to do. In honor of hitting the road again, I thought I would post a little video from our last tour in the UK and Europe. This one is titled 'Patience Is The Key'.
