Step 1: Navigate to the official portal of TAFCOP.

Step 2: Insert your mobile number.

Step 3: Click on the Request OTP button.

Step 4: You will receive an OPTP on your registered mobile number.

Step 5: Enter OTP and click on the Validate button.

Step 6: You will be able to see the numbers registered to your Aadhaar number on the TAFCOP portal.

Steps to Link Your Mobile Number to Aadhaar

Follow the steps mentioned below to link your mobile number to your Aadhaar Card:

Step 1: Dial 14546* directly from your mobile number

Step 2: A box will appear where you will be asked whether you are an Indian or NRI

Step 3: Enter your information and then press 1 for the re-verification of the credentials in your Aadhaar

Step 4: After this, you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and press ‘Confirm’ 

Step 5: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number after confirmation

Step 6: After OTP verification, you have to agree with the executive to extract your information from UIDAI

Step 7: Then IVR (Interactive Voice Response) will read out your mobile number’s last four digits

Step 8: If the number is right, you have to insert the OTP you have received

Step 9: Finally, press 1 to end this process

Steps to Update Your Mobile Number in Your Aadhaar Card

Following are the steps to update your mobile number in Aadhaar: 

Step 1: Go to the official website Aadhaar  

Step 2: Select the option “login by mobile number” that appears while going to the ‘login by’ button. 

Step 3: After doing so, you must insert your mobile number and the captcha. After inserting them re-check all information and select the ‘Send OTP’ button.

Step 4: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter and select the ‘Submit OTP’ button.  

Step 5: After OTP submission, the next screen will appear, in which you will find every Aadhaar-related services list. This screen shows you the two options, ‘Update Aadhaar’ and ‘New Enrollment’, from which you have to choose the former.  

Step 6: On the next page, you will find several pieces of information you plan to update. It includes name, resident type, Aadhaar number, and so on.

Step 7: After doing so, you have to fill out some essential information fields and then click on ‘Mobile Number’ below the section called ‘what do you want to update. After entering your mobile number, select “Proceed”.

Step 8: On the next page, you will again be asked for your registered mobile number and to enter the captcha. Fill out those details and select ‘Send OTP’. Then, enter the OTP for verification and select the ‘Save and Proceed’ option.

Step 9: Before proceeding, re-check every detail carefully for one final time and tap on ‘Submit’.

Step 10: Lastly, a section on your screen will show you that your Aadhaar updating process has been completed successfully. 

Steps to Place an Appointment to Complete the Aadhaar Linking Process

You will then be asked to book an appointment with your nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Center. The same can be done after following a series of simple steps. You can find the process in question right below.

Step 1: Select the option ‘Book Appointment’ to book a space at the Aadhaar Enrollment Center adjacent to your location.

Step 2: You will find some time spaces highlighted in green and the rest in red. Choose only the green ones since the red colour marks the spaces already booked.

Step 3: Lastly, you should verify every detail of the appointment. After you are self-assured about those details, click on ‘Confirm’.
