Technologies to Expect in the Future

Technology has come a long way in the last 20 years. I could not have imagined back in the 1990s about half the things we can do today. Thanks to all the innovators working tirelessly every day to make everyone’s life better. We are not living on Mars yet, but hey look at how cool life has become right here on Earth.

As a child, I never would have imagined all the luxuries we enjoy today. However, now it is just impossible to live without our smartphones, smart lights, smarts cameras, and whatnot. Even the internet connections these days are lightning-fast – coming a long way from the dial-up. No longer do we spend hours to download a file, or connect to the internet with a telephone cable.

In fact, this evolution in internet technology has been the basis for many of our latest inventions. It allows us to stay connected with family and friends, install remotely controllable home security systems, work from home, or do whatever else we like. If you are looking for a high-speed internet connection, it will be a good idea to check out AT&T internet for availability in your area. If not, then Cox internet and Spectrum internet are good options too. All of them offer speeds that can go up to 1GIG and are supported by fiber-optic infrastructure in limited areas. If you can lay your hands on a connection like this, you will never regret your decision.

Looking at the strides made in the field of technology in the past two decades, it can safely be said that the next one is definitely going to bring around some amazing things our way. However, are we ready for the next step in technology? I am sure the futurists are but are the rest of us ready too? If not, then we had better be, because there is no way we are going back to the manual world of yesteryears, so it is about time we kept ourselves up-to-date about tech info.

Let us catch the pace of the world by finding out about the ideas of today that we may see as realities of the future.

Less Space & More Power

Technology that takes up minimal space while offering maximum power and the best solution is every tech fanatic’s dream. Companies like Intel and IBM have been working day in day out over the years keeping this in mind. And they definitely have brought their devices a long way from the bulky machines they used to be, to the slim yet powerful monsters of today.

Automation

Yes, we all empathize with all the people whose professions were made redundant due to automation. However, if we look at the other side of the story, automation just created different kinds of professions and people took too long to adapt, hence the unemployment. Every business wants to make a profit and it was obvious from the moment technology started evolving that if we don’t improve our skillset along with it, we will fall back as a redundant resource. So if we are to stay ahead of the game and remain employed, then we had better get ready for machines that can be controlled by our thoughts. Imagine just sitting around thinking about what needs to be done. That is it!

Neurohacking

Our nerves are very complicated and neurologists and neurosurgeons are still trying to figure out how they work so that they can cure several diseases by manipulating them. There may soon be a day when mental acuity for your entire life may become a normal thing.

Quantum Engines

Quantum engines have been the hottest topic among the science lads, lately and who can blame them. I cannot think of one person who does not think that traveling through space at the speed of light would be very cool. This could be made possible by successfully designing quantum engines. Scientists still have not been able to build engines that were powerful enough to support giant rockets to travel at the speed of light. However, they may become possible one day and may provide the thrust required to help a space vessel to travel at the speed of light for a long period.

Nanobots

We have seen them in movies, performing surgeries, controlling someone, or even killing someone. However, in the future, all this might come out of the movie and become a reality. We may be able to go into surgery where no cuts are required. Laser surgery is a good example of the benefits of knife free surgeries; however, it is limited to the things that can be done with it. Nanobots may be able to treat so many more illnesses since they can be programmed for specific tasks.

Hologram Communication

Holograms may not be something new, but fully conscious holograms would be. Experts are working on holograms that would contain the sender’s entire consciousness to be sent anywhere in the world. We may be able to integrate our senses, emotions, and feelings into these holograms, making the need for physical presence unnecessary. I highly doubt I would be losing personal touch with my loved ones, but it definitely sounds cool.

Conclusion

If I had you laughing with the above futuristic inventions to be, just look back and see how many times we had laughed at things that came into being eventually.
